2. Information We Collect
We collect information you give us directly when you make a booking or contact us:
- Guest and booking details: name, email, phone number, number of guests, check-in and check-out dates, and the property or room you select.
- Booking and payment details: booking reference, price, number of nights, amounts paid and balances due, and payment status. Card and UPI details are processed securely by our payment partner — we do not store your card numbers.
- Contact information: email and phone number so we can send confirmations, invoices, payment links and support messages.
We do not ask for sensitive information such as government ID numbers or health data.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To create, confirm and manage your booking and provide invoices and receipts.
- To send you booking confirmations, payment receipts, balance reminders, and cancellation or refund updates by email and WhatsApp.
- To process payments and prevent fraud.
- To send custom offer links when you request one.
- To answer your questions, provide support, and meet our legal and tax obligations.
- To keep our website secure and improve our services.
We do not sell your personal information and we do not send marketing WhatsApp messages without your separate permission.
4. WhatsApp Updates
If you choose to share your WhatsApp number, we may use it to send you helpful updates about your booking — for example, confirmation, payment reminders or refund updates.
These messages are sent via WhatsApp, a service provided by Meta. We only share what is needed to deliver the message, such as your phone number and booking details.
You can let us know at any time if you prefer not to receive updates on WhatsApp — just contact us using the details in Section 12. We will still send important booking information by email.
5. Legal Basis
- To fulfil your booking: we need your details to provide the stay you have booked.
- With your consent: you agree to receive booking updates when you share your contact details at checkout. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal obligations: to issue tax invoices and keep required business records.
- Legitimate interests: to keep our service secure, prevent fraud and improve our website.
8. How Long We Keep Your Information
- Booking, invoice and payment records are kept for 7 years to meet Indian tax and accounting requirements.
- Offer links are kept until they expire and for a short period afterwards for support.
- Message delivery records are kept for a short period to help with support, then deleted or anonymised.
9. Your Rights & Choices
Under applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:
- Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct any mistakes.
- Ask us to delete your personal information where we are not required by law to keep it — see Section 13 for how to request this.
- Opt out of WhatsApp messages by replying STOP or emailing us. Important booking emails will still be sent.
- Raise a concern with us at the contact details below.
To exercise these rights, email radhaheritagehomestay@gmail.com with subject “Privacy Request” and your booking reference or email. We will respond within 30 days.
10. Security
We use secure connections (HTTPS) and restrict access to booking data to authorised staff only. Payments are handled by our trusted payment partner and WhatsApp messages are delivered through Meta's secure systems. While we take care to protect your information, no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure — please contact us promptly if you believe your information has been used without permission.
11. Children's Privacy
Our services are intended for adults making bookings. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child's information was shared with us by mistake, please contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect legal or service changes. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top and publish the new version on this page. For important changes, we will also notify you by email or with a notice on our website. Continued use after the update means you accept the new Policy.

To request deletion: please email us from the email you used for booking with the subject “Data Deletion — [Your Booking Reference]” and include the email or phone number used for the booking. We will confirm within 30 days. Where we must keep certain records by law, we will let you know and will anonymise the information where possible.
